*Advertorial*
I was super excited when I received the set of hair products because Essential just relaunched with a brand new packaging, improved formula and also a new variant!

My family has been a big fan of Essential previously and my mum and sister has been using Essential shampoo previously except for me because I have oily scalp and I couldn’t use any shampoo that are rich in formula. However, I have been using their hair mask for a year now and I super love it!

Do you actually know that our hair gets “immune” to the effect of the shampoo? This explains why we should constantly switch our shampoo.

Many of us have combination hair in Singapore due to the hot and humid weather here and I believe most of our combination hair will fall under the “Oily scalp and dry ends” category.

Previously, Essential only has two variants: Pink & Orange. But now, Essential is available in 4 variants to suit all hair needs and types:

Nourishing Breakage Defense (orange) – for weak & damaged hair
Moisturizing Frizz Free (pink) – for dull & rough hair
Light Finish Volumizing (yellow) – for flat and limp hair
Deep Cleansing Care (blue) – for oily scalp & dry ends (new)

Out of these 4 variants, the yellow and blue variants have technology that caters to people with combination hair – oily scalp/roots yet dry ends.

I did a short hair profiling survey and they sent me the Deep Cleansing Care series for my hair because I have really oily scalp and my ends are just a little dry.

Deep Cleansing Care (blue) variant has the lightest formula and is suitable for people with very oily roots, followed by Light Finish Volumizing (yellow) variant.

If you don’t know which shampoo to pick, ask yourself the following questions and choose from the matrix below:

1. Do you have oily hair roots/scalp?
2. Do you have dry/damaged hair ends?

I have been using the deep cleansing care shampoo now and it’s controlling the oiliness of my scalp very well!! Previously, no shampoo can control my oily hair and those shampoos make my ends extremely dry like some hay -____-

But with the deep cleansing care shampoo and conditioner, my hair has no more dry ends and it’s also tangled free! I super hate tangled hair because you have to spend time combing through the tangled hair and sometimes it takes EXTREMELY long because it’s soooooo tangled. Sometimes I don’t even bother combing through them because it’s so troublesome lol!

But HEYYYYYYYYY NOW I NO NEED TO FACE TANGLED HAIR ANYMORE and my hair became much smoother! *flips hair*

Dolly WInk Guinness World Record Breaking Event

A few weeks back I attended the Dolly Wink Guinness World Record Event with Mariam and I was super excited cox you get lots of Dolly Wink goodies for only $10?! If you are a fan of Dolly Wink you would have known that the usual price of their products is >$20 on average.

MY LOVE FOR DOLLY WINK!!!! <3

It’s also a super meaningful event because they help us each purchase a pin in support of the Breast Cancer.

And I was also excited cox I get to see lots of pretty bloggers like Rachell, Miyake, Xiaxue and Shu an!! Super love Xiaxue cox she’s so pretty and petite even after being a mum! I saw her shopping at Scape after the event but I didn’t dare to approach her for a photo lol but also because I didn’t want to disturb her shopping la hahaha.

Pardon my photos because I sat all the way at the corner so I didn't manage to have a very good view of the stage. Didn't brought my zoom lens out also :x

Just in case you didn’t know about Dolly Wink, Dolly Wink is a cosmetic brand by Tsubasa Masuwaka and they focused a lot on fake lashes.

She was previously a Popteen model and she’s also super petite and pretty lah! #ENVY

I look up to her a lot because she’s so successful, having her own cosmetic brands and now even a clothing brand call EATME. She came to Singapore last year for some Shibuya girls event, but sadly she didn’t came over this year Okay back to the event!

George and his sunshine smile!

To cut short, the whole event is about having the most number of people wearing fake lashes and they were rather strict because they didn’t allow us to help our friends and we had to do it ourselves. I wasn’t confident in putting them on because I seldom wear them although I bought lots of fake lashes lol but I seems like an expert on that day for some reason HAHAHA.

I think Mariam was having some trouble because she never ever tried on fake lashes before and also cox her natural lashes is already long lah, hate this kind of people lor! And she looks like drag queen with her fake lashes HAHAHA Kidding la I still love you <3

There was also a few guys at the event, mostly dragged along by their girlfriends LOL. George Young was also there to support the event and he even put on eyelashes!!!

FLUTTERING LASHES LOL.

They were also selling the new series of Dolly Wink lashes which would only be launch in Singapore next year and they were also selling many Dolly Wink products at cheap prices! But it was swept out really fast and everyone was just pushing here and there .___________.

Here are the new series:

I managed to get myself a pair of the new lashes though!! (I bought no. 24!)

Loving the new series because they are super natural! And as usual, the lash bones is super soft which doesn’t makes it uncomfortable even after wearing it for a long time.

Currently I’m working on my (probably last) Japan post. In the meantime, do watch my Japan Vlog Part 3 if you haven’t!
